Regulatory Compliance assists our member electric cooperatives with adherence to complex federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. We provide on-site, on-going compliance support tailored to the needs of participating cooperatives. Available services include:
- Continuous tracking, interpretation, and response to new or proposed regulations. Management is provided with accurate and current regulatory information which may impact their operations
- Staff provides direct on-site assistance with development and maintenance of necessary regulatory reporting, documentation, and comprehensive record-keeping.
- Member assistance with the development, implementation, training and maintenance of targeted programs which address critical compliance issues. In addition, staff will assist our member cooperatives in responding to regulatory agency inspections and their associated response.
Participation in this fee-for-service program, in combination with other Statewide services, will improve members compliance and risk management positions, reduce their staff time devoted to regulatory issues, and thereby help lessen their exposure to regulatory violations and litigation.
